A graduate of the University of Nebraska, John Fucinaro obtained a degree in Music Education, specializing in low brass, guitar, and bass. John has had experience performing with a wide variety of ensembles ranging from the UNL Symphony Orchestra, UNL Jazz Orchestra, UNL Wind Ensemble and the Nebraska Trombone Quartet. He also performs with local and touring rock bands, “Risky Clique” and “AZP”.
A Lincolnite through and through, John completed his student teaching at Goodrich Middle School, where he taught beginning band, concert band, jazz band, and solo/ensembles. Since graduation, he has worked with many young musicians, working as a clinician for Omaha’s Music in Catholic Schools, teaching individual students, and coaching some of Lincoln’s young up and coming rock bands.
With a passion for diversity of musical taste, John is always practicing and listening to music. He hopes to deliver lasting musical knowledge and a respect for all musical styles and genres to his students.
