Aydin Mack, a graduate of Chadron State College, obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Music specializing in Trumpet and Brass Studies. He studied under Dr. Sidney Shuler, Dr. Michael Knight, and Dr. John Wojcik throughout the four years he spent in Chadron. Originally from Alliance, Nebraska, Aydin began learning and performing music on the guitar beginning at the age of eight. Joining the band program shortly thereafter, he found his passion in brass instruments under the direction of Alliance Public Schools’ David Rischling.
Aydin is a member of the International Trumpet Guild and has had a wide range of ensemble experience from Chadron State College, Nebraska Intercollegiate Band, and Sound of America. Aydin’s most rewarding performance musically took place in 2014 for Sound of America, an organization based in Carlisle, Pennsylvania that would tour multiple countries in Europe, including Italy, France, and Germany, performing band and choir music during the summer. Aydin has held principal positions in Chadron State College’s Wind Symphony, Jazz Combo, and Jazz Band. He wishes to share his passion for performing and analyzing music with each of his students.
Outside of music, Aydin enjoys writing poetry, spending time with peers and family, and any outdoor activities such as hiking.
