A newcomer to Lincoln, Lincoln Havranek, is currently working on his Doctorate of Musical Arts in Saxophone Performance at the University of Nebraska. He received his Masters of Music Degree in Saxophone Performance at the University of South Dakota and his Bachelors of Arts in Saxophone Performance at Wayne State College.
Lincoln has been active with many roles and ensembles over the years such as serving as a graduate teaching assistant, participating in the Jazz Festival at OSD and performing with a multitude of groups such as Wind Ensembles, Symphonic Bands, Jazz Bands, Quartet Performances and more.
Lincoln received the North American Saxophone Alliance Member and served as a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Fraternity. Additionally, he received the Golden Key International Honor Fraternity in 2014 and was named the “Outstanding Applied Music Student” in 2011.
His wife, Kimberly, is a personal trainer and fitness instructor. Some of Lincoln’s hobbies include listening to new music, spending time outdoors, participating in physical fitness activities, travelling and of course…practicing his saxophone!
Lauren thoroughly enjoys her weekly lesson with Lincoln. Her and Lincoln get along very well and Lauren always has such positive things to say about her lessons with him. Lincoln is a really good fit for Lauren. – Parent of current student
