Daniela Gonzalez-Suarez

Daniela Gonzalez-Suarez is native from Caracas, Venezuela where she began her studies in Piano Performance at age eight. She travelled to England in 2012 where she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Piano Performance with Distinction from the Birmingham Conservatoire; her primary teachers there were Mark Bebbington and Margaret Fingerhut. In 2014, Daniela attended the Vienna International Summer Academy where she studied with professors Stephan Moller, Thomas Kreuzberger and Wolfgang Watzinger. In 2016, she graduated from Baylor University (Texas), completing a double Masters. For her Master of Music in Piano Performance, she studied with Bulgarian pianist, Krassimira Jordan. For her Master of Music Piano Performance and Pedagogy, she studied with Dr. Lesley McAllister. She has performed in recitals in England, Spain, Venezuela, Texas, and Miami. She debuted as a soloist in 2012 performing Sergei Prokofiev’s First Piano Concerto with the Simon Bolivar Orchestra of Tachira.
At Baylor, she held Graduate Assistant positions accompanying singers and instrumentalists, as well as teaching beginning adult students in group classes, children, and advanced students. She has taught private piano, group classes, and music theory for students of all ages and levels in South Florida and in music conservatories in Madrid (Spain).
Daniela is a member of the Nebraska Music Teachers Association.
