The 29th Annual Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy, held on Thursday, February 5th, 2015 at Pinnacle Bank Arena brought professional and local chefs together with chocolate connoisseurs to raise money for The Historic Haymarket District and Lincoln TeamMates!

A variety of chocolate delights were served, from bacon infused truffles and Frozen Hot Chocolate to warm cookies and baklava. Chefs were very creative with fun table themes, from Greek Gods to Frozen! Entertainment was provided by Harris Academy of The Arts Professional Musicians Pop String Quartet and a Silent Auction was featured.

The Lincoln Haymarket Development Corporation, a non-profit board, is committed to continuing the economic development, revitalization, preservation, and growth of Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket District.

The mission of the TeamMates Mentoring Program of Lincoln is to positively impact the world by inspiring youth to reach their full potential. TeamMates mentors are volunteers from within our community who spend one hour, once a week during the school year building a relationship with a student. The objective is to encourage the child and give a sense of hope, purpose and vision. Mentors serve as a good role model and dedicate themselves to making a difference in the life of a young person. TeamMates youth consistently maintain or improve their grades, school attendance and behavior.
