Mu Htee Paw
Mu Htee is one of many kind souls at Harris. From her friendly greetings and good-byes, to her consideration for others, her warm heart is also evident in her piano playing. After only two years of lessons, Mu Htee has achieved a maturity in her playing beyond her 11 years.
Mu Htee’s instructor, Mai Butler, shares:
“Mu Htee is such a wonderful student who works so hard to prepare for her lessons every week. She is very musical and her piano sounds and touch are very sensitive. I really like her playing because she plays piano from her heart.”
Mu Htee was the winner of our Annual Music Contest in 2014. Her submitted essay explaining why she deserved a free year of music lessons earned her just that – an entire year of free piano lessons. (Hint: the deadline for this year’s contest is June 1. You can learn how to enter on our website!) Read more about our May Student of the Month in her own words!
